Evenglow Lodge is a not-for-profit retirement and health care facility formed within the Illinois Great Rivers Conference of The United Methodist Church. It is operated by a volunteer Board of Trustees as a nonprofit retirement community. Believing that God intends for all people to live all of life for His glory, Evenglow Lodge’s mission is to turn that belief into a living reality for our residents by providing surroundings in which each person may live life to his or her fullest potential. Evenglow Lodge is an expression of Christ’s love for older adults.
Because Jesus served all persons, we provide care for older adults regardless of race, creed, religion, color, national origin, or sex. This care will include independent living for those who are able, help with activities of daily living for those requiring it, and custodial and intermediate care for the frail and disabled.
The mission of Evenglow is to be a resource for older adults by providing these services in a caring Christian manner, to maximize their physical, social, spiritual and emotional health, and to promote independence and an active lifestyle in a supportive environment.
Evenglow offers a wide range of living environments and arrangements to accommodate your needs. You can choose the apartment and the level of care and service that’s right for you. Whatever you choose, you’ll enjoy a warm homelike atmosphere in a safe and secure setting at Evenglow.
